The Smackdown Stretch is a dynamic stretch that targets your whole body, particularly your lower body including your hips, legs and feet. This exercise promotes flexibility and muscle relaxation. It improves blood circulation throughout the body and promotes recovery after intense workouts.

Step-by-step instructions

Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart, arms resting comfortably at your sides.

Reach your right arm up towards the ceiling, extending as far as you comfortably can.

Bend to your left side at the waist, extending your right arm over your head and towards your left side.

Hold this position for a few breaths, feeling a slight stretch at your right side.

Return to the starting position, and then repeat the stretch, this time reaching your left arm up and bending towards your right side.
