Step-by-step instructions

Start by holding a medicine ball in both hands in front of your chest, standing directly in front of a step or bench.

Lift one foot and place it firmly on the step, your knee should be directly over your ankle.

Press through your front heel and bring yourself up to standing on the step, keeping the medicine ball at chest level.

Carefully take the same foot off the step and return to the starting position. Complete the programmed number of reps then switch to the other leg.

Remember to keep your back straight and avoid slouching forward during the exercise.
