Step-by-step instructions

Start by placing an exercise or yoga mat on the floor. Lay a step or bench perpendicular to the mat, towards the one end.

Lie down on your back on the mat. Place your heels on the bench or step, with your legs straight and your toes pointing towards the ceiling.

Place your hands lightly behind your ears, keeping your elbows wide apart.

Lift your head and shoulders off the mat and try to reach towards your toes, while keeping your back flat on the floor.

Lower yourself back down and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
