Step-by-step instructions

Stand facing a sturdy box or step, holding a dumbbell in each hand by your sides.

Place one foot firmly on the box, keeping the knee slightly bent.

Push through the foot on the box, stepping up to stand on the box, balancing on one leg.

Slowly lower your body back down, stepping down from the box in a controlled motion.

Switch leg and repeat for the programmed number of reps. Avoid rocking your body or using momentum to pull your body up- your leg should be doing the work.
