Step-by-step instructions

Stand next to a low cable machine, and attach a cuff to your ankle.

Adjust the cable to the lowest setting.

Stand tall with your chest up and hold on to the machine for balance.

Slowly lift your leg sideways against the resistance of the cable, until it crosses in front of your standing leg.

Lower your leg back to the starting position in a controlled manner and repeat for the desired number of reps.
