Step-by-step instructions

Sit down at a lat pulldown machine and adjust the knee pad to fit snugly against your legs.

Grab the bar with a underhand grip (palms facing you) and make sure your hands are a bit more than shoulder-width apart.

Lean slightly back from your hips, gaze forward, and keep your chest lifted.

Pull the bar down towards your chest while keeping your elbows close to the body and not letting them flare out.

Slowly let the bar return back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
