Step-by-step instructions

Stand upright and pick up a barbell using an overhand grip.

With your feet hip width apart and knees slightly bent, bend at the hips allowing the bar to slide down your legs towards your feet.

Keep your back straight and look forward the whole time.

When you feel a good stretch in your hamstrings, lift the barbell back up by straightening your hips.

Finish the movement by bringing your body back to a fully upright position and repeat the exercise for the desired number of reps.
