Explosive Push Up instructions
Step-by-step instructions
1
Start in a standard push-up position, with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and fingers pointing forwards.
2
Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor, keeping your body in a straight line.
3
In a swift, powerful motion, push yourself off the floor hard enough that both your hands leave the floor. At the top of the push-up, you should be able to clap your hands before landing.
4
Land back gently, absorbing the impact by bending your elbows in a controlled manner.
5
Keep your core engaged and body straight in order to protect your spine. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
