Step-by-step instructions

Start by sitting on an exercise or yoga ball, holding a dumbbell in each hand.

While keeping your back straight, walk your feet forward until your upper back and head comfortably rest on the ball. Your knees should be bent at 90 degrees.

With a dumbbell in each hand, extend your arms out to the sides, keeping your elbows slightly bent.

Slowly swing the arms in a windshield wiper motion from side-to-side, making sure only your upper body moves, not your hips or legs.

Return to the centre and repeat the windshield wiper motion for the programmed number of repetitions.
